Who we are

The Cornerstone is a part of the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel which “exists to glorify God and advance His kingdom.” As part of Foursquare, we believe that Jesus Christ, God’s Son, is the Savior, Healer, Baptizer with the Holy Spirit, and Soon-Coming King – that is the Foursquare Gospel in a nutshell. Our mission and vision

The Cornerstone’s mission is to follow Jesus’ greatest commandments to love God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength; and to love your neighbor as yourself.  We say it this way…love God and grow in Him; love others and serve them. Our vision is to see our community transformed by the power of God’s love.    

Meet our Pastors

Pastor Ted and Lauri Lienhard, Senior Pastor Pastor Ted is our lead pastor. His heart is to glorify God in everything he does and to faithfully lead people into the presence of God in corporate worship. Pastor Ted is also gifted in the area of counseling and teaching the Word of God and his wife Lauri is a wonderful hostess and always willing to share a meal and great fellowship.  Ted and Lauri have been married for 44 years and have 5 grown children and 9 exuberant grandchildren scattered across the U.S. from California to Minnesota. They served as assistant pastors at the Cornerstone for 8 years before moving to Oroville, CA to pastor a church there for 10 years. Several years ago they moved back to Sparks, and we are blessed that they have returned to lead and serve at The Cornerstone.
